I am not sure what i think about the current iteration of 3d, yet.... it seems that relative to all the other times in history that the industry attempted this, we have the best chance through higher precision tools to make it work today. however, it is difficult to overlook the fact that it has been available for a hundred years and attempted numerous times unsuccessfully. the cost is higher to already struggling theatres, and some 70 percent wears the dumb-ass glasses and still come out disappointed because the center slice of seats are the only ones treated to "the real 3d effect." so...... are people going to pay up for 3d is really the question...?

Here is the thing... 3D is much harder to pirate so the "industry" will make 3D work... plus although its been available for a very long time... the technology and experience with the LCD shutter glasses has not... not to mention that there are 3 other ways to create 3D... I just hope that all of this left eye right eye shutter pulsating brain splitting isn't really a clever way to turn all consumers into zombies:)
