OptiTek motion capture system
I was reading an article about compositing that mentioned the new optitek camera so I went to check out the site and found some pretty cool features. These systems are not that expensive considering what kind of work can come out of them. They even have a system for faces!

that dude is serious. the best part of the whole thing is that he titled it Hadouken. my friends and i must have shouted that at each other in highschool a million times circa 1994. of course we lifted one leg and did the arm twirl for effect. hilarious. the technology is sick too, dind't realize that was a 3d cam on that box....hmm.
