I am about to take on a challenge of creating a show about acting and would like to discuss what it means to be committed. To a part, to a scene, to an emotion....ect

That's a pretty big question to answer! here's my take on a portion of it--> to be committed to a part:
first you have to understand the world of the piece you are to perform, meaning you have to read the script at least 3 times before you meet with the cast, this way you'll understand who you all are from a birds eye view. Then you begin to dissect who you are, not emotionally but in relations to the time period, social status, political/social views, etc...(this is when you really understand the opinions of your character and who she/he is, relative to their surrounding)
Once you have developed this foundation, as you read your text you will begin to breathe true emotions into your lines (as your character) because you now have a character opinion.
I'm not sure how easy that sounds (but this is the very tip of the iceberg to good acting). It's actually really hard and takes a lot of investigative research, imaginiation, and commitment.

What kind of show is this? I'm curious ^-^
This show will consist of interviews and testimony from actors in diverse levels of the acting profession.
