So, my dear learned lighting guru's. I am not ashamed of my infant status in this world and intend to plunder your brains and knowledge readily. I am going to be in a position soon to purchase a lighting kit that will help secure my freelance videography ability. Check this out I am looking at the "Lowel - DVcreator Kit 55 Ex" But obviously my allegiance lies with Abel Cine Tech (Gregger, you are the man!) The only change I think I would make to this would be a small soft box (on top of the large one) for product photography and intimate interviewing.

I welcome anyone's thoughts on the matter and it might be better to chat in an email than the comments section. Feel free to chime in!

i dont think they vari in color amongst themselves. last time i checked they only did one temp. its worth remembering that the technology lends towards a touch of extra glow not really a source of throw. although im a huge fan i think you need a litepanel or maybe that new 16x9 gun to truly enjoy an LED setup.

Can anyone who has used the new Rosco lite pads comment on whether there is a color temp variation, both between pads, and matching standard color temps. The zylights are more expensive, but color tunable....
