Its a JVC but it records directly to quicktime! Huh.

Thoughts?

I think this would have been huge a year or two ago, but with .mxf support in fcp, and pro res 422, it seems questionable whether it is really a workflow improvement anymore.....
yeah but what about this one? Still goes straight to quick time. It seems interesting.

It can also record to the SXS, with an optional clip on device, and the SDHC at the same time but it won't do over under crank so really whats the point in the SXS?
Interesting, I remember I almost bought the GY-HD200. But this is great in that it shoots straight to Quicktime. The P2 workflow still works out pretty well with Raylight for Mac and FCP.

Looks good for a second cam, shoots 1080p in 24/25/30, comes with a nice piece of glass. Interesting enough to take a look at.
Have you tried the calibratedmxf plug in from the apple website? Also we are supposed to have the HPX300 at Abel Tomorrow if you are in the hood you should stop by.
Anyone shooting on the Panasonic ag 40?
No... I've played with it before... U got one?
Heres a link to a post where the author says its noticeably sharper than the 150...  the possibilities for small cams into tight spaces is going up all the time...
