Hopefully the spring is finding you well. Hopefully everyone has been able to stay busy. We have been busy over here at the network. Tribeca Film Festival is happening in New York City right now and it is always an exciting time for filmmakers and film watchers everywhere. It is particularly exciting for me as I was chosen to produce the shoot of Robert Deniro and Jane Rosenthal for the press junket at this years festival...... I posted a pic here of the set. This years festival is looking pretty incredible as usual. The festival was created in the wake of September 11 in an attempt to revitalize the downtown area of New York City. It has proven to be be a more and more important festival each year, drawing in more and more of the entertainment community into it's vortex of energy and potential. Meeting Mr. Deniro and hearing him speak about his time with the festival is one of my most memorable experiences in entertainment. Shooting him on my brand new P2 Varicam was surreal. I will write more about it at a later time, eventually I will get around to putting some footage up for folks to see as well but anybody who is in New York City this week should try to see some films.
