we struggled the most on the glass wine bottles. the light was reflecting all over the place and creating serious flares and chromatic aberration. we ended up spray painting the back of the bottles with white spray paint first to keep the front light from blowing right through and to hold the highlight edge from the back, which was giving us the most problem. then we put some black gaff over the paint to keep the white paint from reflecting as much also....it really made a difference....

you're missing a zero there bud. these were all between 55,000 and 70,000 frames per second. we experimented with a couple different settings on the camera as we exploded the different things. we spent more time on the lighting than anything else. 70,000 watts of light can be a bit of a chore to control.......
